The small print, kept short

Draft for review. This page is written to the structure required by GDPR and Moroccan Law 09-08, but the company details, registration numbers and cancellation windows below are placeholders. They must be confirmed by the owner and checked by a lawyer before the site goes live.

02Booking terms

Reservations are taken through Cloudbeds, our booking engine. The contract is between you and Jnane Rihane; Cloudbeds handles availability, payment and confirmation emails on our behalf.

Rates and what they include

  • Rates are quoted per room, per night, and include breakfast.
  • Prices are shown in Moroccan dirhams (MAD); euros and US dollars are available at checkout at the day’s rate.
  • Moroccan tourist tax is settled separately at checkout, per person per night, as set by the commune.

Payment

Payment terms, deposit and the accepted cards are those shown in the booking engine at the moment you book. Depending on the payment gateway available in Morocco, the balance may be settled on arrival.

Arrival and departure

Check-in from 2pm, check-out by noon. Earlier arrival and later departure are usually possible; ask us and we will do what we can.

Children and extra beds

Children of all ages are welcome. Extra beds and cots are available in most rooms — tell us in advance so we can prepare the room properly.

03Cancellation

To be confirmed. The windows below are indicative. The binding policy is the one displayed in the booking engine at the moment of booking, and repeated in your confirmation email.

  • Free cancellation up to a set number of days before arrival.
  • Later cancellation may be charged at one night or the full stay, depending on the rate booked.
  • Non-refundable rates, where offered, are marked as such and cannot be cancelled or changed.
  • No-show is charged in full.

If your plans change, write to us before cancelling. We would rather move your dates than lose you.

04Privacy

We collect only what we need to answer you and to prepare your stay. This notice covers the site; bookings made through Cloudbeds are also covered by their own privacy policy.

What we collect

Contact form
Name, email, phone, and whatever you write to us.
Excursion request
The same, plus dates, party size and preferences.
Newsletter
Your email address only.
Booking
Handled by Cloudbeds, including payment data. We never see your full card number.
Analytics
Anonymised usage statistics, only if you accept cookies.

Why, and for how long

Enquiry data is used to reply to you and kept for three years from our last exchange. Booking data is kept as long as Moroccan accounting and hospitality rules require. Newsletter consent lasts until you unsubscribe — there is a link in every email.

Your rights

Under GDPR (for visitors in the EU) and Moroccan Law 09-08, you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, or object to its use. Write to contact@jnanerihane.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your national data protection authority, or to the CNDP in Morocco.

Who else sees it

Our booking engine, our email provider and our analytics provider, each only for the purpose described above. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

05Cookies

The site itself needs no cookies to work. Anything beyond that is optional and asked for before it is set.

Strictly necessary
Security and load balancing. Always on, no consent required.
Analytics
Google Analytics, to understand which pages are read. Set only if you accept.
Booking engine
Cloudbeds sets its own cookies once you open the reservation window.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, or by writing to us.
